White Rhino Hunt at Africa Hunt Lodge
This Thanksgiving, we were honored to host a successful White Rhino hunt.
An experience that not only provides an ethical, fair-chase safari but also directly supports rhino conservation in South Africa.
Conservation Fact:
Today, South Africa is home to over 15,000 White Rhinos, a remarkable recovery from roughly 200 individuals just over a century ago. This comeback is one of the world’s greatest wildlife conservation success stories.
How Responsible Hunting Supports Conservation:
Sustainable, regulated White Rhino hunting plays an important role in protecting the species by:
• Funding on-the-ground conservation and anti-poaching efforts
• Managing genetics and population structure by removing older, non-breeding males
• Incentivizing private landowners to protect and expand rhino habitat
We are proud to contribute to these efforts by ensuring every hunt at Africa Hunt Lodge directly supports long-term rhino survival.
Community Benefit:
Nothing is wasted. The protein-rich meat from this rhino will feed hundreds of local families this holiday season — a meaningful way to give back at a time of gratitude.
Conservation, community, and ethical hunting go hand in hand.
We’re thankful to be part of this ongoing success story.
