What do Africa Elephants look like:
African elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. They weigh between 5,000 and 14,000 pounds. Males and females can both have tusks, while males generally have larger tusks that are usually about 6 feet long.
African Elephant Habitat:
These elephants inhabit a range of environments, from open wooded savannas, to some deserts and forests. They can be found in various countries across Africa, but we hunt mostly in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Caprivi Strip Namibia, or Mozambique.
African Elephant Diet:
African elephants are herbivores that feed on a variety of vegetation including grass, leaves, bark, fruit, and a variety of foliage. They need about 350 pounds of vegetation every day to meet their nutritional needs.
Behavior of the African Elephant:
Elephants are usually peaceful animals, but females can be aggressive when young calves are present. They usually live in family groups led by the father figure.
